FIFA 20 announced the Binational match against River Plate on EA Sports’ official Twitter
Today is a key date for the Copa Libertadores and FIFA 20 knows this better than ever since the launch of the free DLC dedicated to the important continental competition.
Through Twitter, the official account of EA Sports, the developer of FIFA 20, shared the schedule of all matches on Wednesday 11 at the Copa Libertadores. The most attractive is the meeting of the Peruvian Binational champion against River Plate in Argentina.
“Today’s matches in the Copa Libertadores will be hot,” reads the tweet published by EA Sports, accompanied by the hashtag # LibertadoresxFIFA20.
The ‘Powerful of the South’ will play its first game of visit for the Copa Libertadores and will be against River Plate, one of the favorites of the international championship. The game is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. (Peruvian time).
River Plate started with the left foot: they fell 0-3 against LDU Quito on the first date of the Copa Libertadores; unlike Binational, which gave the surprise by defeating Sao Paulo 2-1 at the Guillermo Briceño stadium.

The Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana are now available in FIFA 20 through a free DLC. You can download it on PS4, Xbox One and PC. For obvious reasons, the community is with the expectation, so we bring all the data that you should take into account about the long-awaited update.

Regarding the official competitions that the DLC brings, FIFA 20 will feature CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana and CONMEBOL Recopa in Quick Match and Career modes.
Please note that this FIFA 20 update brings the 28 teams that qualified directly for the group stages of the 2020 Copa Libertadores and “the remaining four clubs will be chosen at random from the existing South American leagues in FIFA 20”.
